| Hey everybody, I'm considering shutting down my Xanga. I'm in a revamping period of my life and I'm basically just trying to streamline and drop stuff that I'm using as a tool of procrastination. Anyway, read up while you can. I'm trying to figure out the best way to save and archive this stuff, but it's not looking very easy unless I want to shell out some money. So yeah, hope everyone's day goes well, see ya!

POSTED: 8:28 a.m. EDT, October 20, 2006 NEW YORK
(AP) -- "Grey's Anatomy" star T.R. Knight says he's gay, but hopes
people don't consider that "the most interesting part of me." The 33-year-old actor addressed rumors of his sexuality in a statement to People magazine Thursday. "I
guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like
to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there," Knight's
statement read. "While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I
hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me." Knight
plays Dr. George O'Malley on the popular ABC drama. A former stage
actor, his television credits also include "CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." Knight's
"Grey's Anatomy" character, a bumbling, puppy-eyed surgeon, has long
been in love with Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). Good times.

| I've just decided that I'm moving to Wichita mid-May 2007. Anything could happen between now and then, but as for right now, that's my decision for this contemplation I've been considering for quite some time. Weight lifted.

"There are no right angles in my life"

| Surprise! I guess it turns out that I didn't tell very many people that I was flying out to California this week. My grandmother from the Philippines flew into the States last week. She's going to be here for a couple of weeks and my mom wanted us to take advantage of the situation and get out here and see her.
Anyway, I flew out of KCI on the 11th at 9:25AM...barely. A special thanks to Branson and Anthony for getting up at 6AM to ride with me up to Kansas City and taking the car back to Manhattan. So...we got to KCI around 8:50 (my flight was at 9:25), I was already nervous about showing up so late and then I pass the exit. It took us 15 minutes to work our way all the way around the highways around the airport. I waltz in at 9:10, throw my back into the check-in and run over to the metal detector which I, of course, have to go through twice. Then they send my bag through twice. I run over to to the gate and slip in right before take off. Amazing. But yeah, the flight was good times.
Alright guys, break for Grey's Anatomy...I'll finish this up in an hour.
*****
Okay, so that episode was a little longer than I expected.
The flight went well, no problems whatsoever, which is always good. When we landed, my mom and sister picked me up and we headed over to Fashion Valley (in the San Diego area) and walked around the stores. I got to look around my first Neiman Marcus, some Von Maur, Dillards and just a touch of some Macy's. All of this wonderful shopping just reaffirmed that I HATE those types of store. HATE them. The fake marble (or real, doesn't really matter), the glass cases with "gold" lining, stuck up holier-than-thou employees (just because you're wearing something off of a mannequin doesn't mean it looks good on you), the over-priced clothes, the cheap Korean trinkets in shitty packaging...I don't really know why, it just makes me want to throw up.
Anyway after an hour of that we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory. Good times is what that place is. We met up with an old family friend, Nan and ordered an appetizer sampler. The seven plates covered the table and after finishing that off, I ordered a slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake. Heaven! We spent the entire dinner catching up on what's happened over the past three years and then went off for more shopping/vomiting. After all of that pointless looking, I realized that I was missing my debit card while I was trying to purchase some ear phones. So I froze that over the phone on our way back to Nan's house. When we got there, I broke out the Physics and caught the latest episode of Jericho but spared Nan's brother from Project: Runway.
Anyway hope all is well in the Kansas (I hear it's cold).

| Hey guys. Here's an email I received from my bad ass broham
(brother for those less linguistic individuals) Dusty covering a very
important issue to my heart:
<<<Begin Paste>>>
For those of you who haven't seen it yet, take a look at
www.ownitendit.org. "Own It. End It." is the LA Gay and Lesbian
Center's new advertising campaign to bring awareness to HIV. The
tagline very boldly states "HIV is a gay disease. Own it. End it."
Later in the site, the LAGLC goes on to explain the reason they make
that statement, new HIV infections are on a rapid increase in LA
County. Understandable. I think that a sizeable number of people in
the LA area are probably sophisticated enough to get the "shock and
awe" tactic that LAGLC is using. Unfortunately for those of us living
in the bible belt, the general population isn't that savvy. After
airing on CNN, the local news station picked up the story, and
naturally went to the largest church in the area for a comment. "With
this statement, the homosexuals are finally admitting what we have
known all along, HIV is a punishment from God for their behavior," the
pastor very proudly proclaimed.
I have been training since June to ride in AIDS/Lifecycle 6, a 585
mile bike ride from San Francisco to LA to raise money and awareness.
In June I chose my beneficiary of the $5,500 I planned to raise over
the course of the year to be LAGLC, because I felt that the money
would be put to good use there, and I know many friends and Brothers
that use the LAGLC's services. Literally thousands of people put
their blood, sweat, tears, and money into this ride to raise millions
of dollars to help the world understand that HIV/AIDS is a disease
that affects everyone in the world. I am currently taking a break
from my training to decide if I can, in good concience, give so much
money to an organization that would so blatantly perpetuate this
stereotype that is so damaging. Even worse, the actual LAGLC website
has no feedback email address. If you want to say something about the
campaign, you have to go to the ownitendit.org website and post on the
forum.
Could we play into the conservative's stereotypical view of HIV and
Gay Men any better? Only if Karl Rove wrote their next set of ads. I
wish they could see what kind of danger they put gay men in,
especially around the bible belt. Teenage suicide is already high
here, and largely due to young men being afraid to come out or feeling
guilty. Now lets add on the fear of HIV as a punishment from God.
Just for some general information and feedback.

You know, in case you hear crap like that in the papers or what not.
